Good friends Kathryn and Yvan asked me to do a maternity session for them back in February of last year. With their son Leo almost one now, it seemed only fitting that I share with you these beautiful images we made together. On this particular afternoon, we tried several different approaches: relaxed candids, controlled light portraits, and studio style fixed poses. I’m really happy with the results and I think you will agree, the images below really capture the essence of Kathryn & Yvan’s love for each other and for their son Leo.

As most of you that know me already know, my wife and I had a son named Oliver back in November. To commemorate Dana’s pregnancy, we took the time to do a Maternity session and make some photographs. The setting (in this case, the cottage) perfectly fit the style and feel we were going for and we were really able to capture the essence of Dana’s pregnancy. As you will see in the photographs below, Dana really had the “pregnancy glow” happening. She looked absolutely stunning (in my opinion).
