It’s hard to believe that winter was ever here – with the warmest temperatures we’ve had yet this year enveloping us this weekend. The snow has all but melted, the ground is thawing, and the days are certainly getting longer, filled with all the sunlight we’ve missed…and needed.
Nothing to see here. Just some thawing grounds, dripping eavestroughs and melting snowbanks. It’s the first day of plus whatever temperatures and it actually feels like we are coming out of winter for warmer months. No one wants to jinx it here but wouldn’t it be nice if we actually saw an early spring?
As I lie here bedridden for the last couple of days with a very painful back problem, I find my mind wandering. You see, TV really just doesn’t cut it for me. I don’t have the personality that can just sit down in front of a TV screen for hours on end and keep my mind on topic. I’d rather be doing something….
