Wolfe Lake Rd ICM
“But nobody is visually naive any longer. We are cluttered with images, and only abstract art can bring us to the threshold of the divine.”

Making progress with my photo impressionism. Driving down another local road, I found rolling hills and glowing fields of amber and orange from the late day sun. It was a perfect time to stop and not just admire the beauty, but interpret it in my own way. I love using movement in my photographs. It can not only be a support character in an image, but it can tell a story on it’s own. It can take the lead if you let it. And truthfully, I think that’s why the Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) technique is working so well for me these days. It’s opened up possibilities I never saw coming; that I want to continue to explore and get better at.
