My 100 & Me [Week 04]
Keeping up with a weekly photography challenge is HARD! When you work in front of a computer for most of the day, you’d think it would be easy to get out for a bit a couple of times a week. Right now, that has been the most difficult part of this challenge, the getting out part.
There are just so many things going on in my life right now and most of them are centred around me “working the keys” on my computer. I’m certainly not complaining because it’s amazing to be able to work from home but finding breaks to leave the house can be tricky. It’s definitely an adjustment from working 17 years of my life in offices and studio spaces.
I will have to do a proper recap of this photo challenge – maybe after week 10 or something like that. It’s still too early to tell whether or not I will be able to keep doing this or if I will fail a horribly fiery death (ok, over exaggeration much?)
There were however some pretty amazing shadows being cast from some late-afternoon light that I was sure glad I was able to capture this past week. The days are getting longer and Spring has finally shown it’s elusive head.
I also had my first bond fire of the season. So, so amazing!
You also know it’s Spring because the cats are clambering to get outside and chase the birds/squirrels/chipmunks/anything that moves or makes a sound. You can see their noses going a mile a minute, and they will find the sunniest, warmest spots by the door to literally bathe in.
Oh and I also had the most amazing Pad Thai this past week. I discovered “Wok-In Restaurant” in Kingston and it didn’t disappoint. Can’t wait to go back. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
