My 100 & Me [Week 09]
How quickly life can lead you in other directions. This blog is super important to me yet it’s been over a year since I’ve updated it. Why? I could list a thousand reasons – all of which would probably be valid in one way or another but I think the truth is that sometimes I just feel like I don’t want to share my work with the outside world. It’s personal. It’s deeply personal. It’s deep.
Maybe I get lazy too.
In any case, just because I haven’t shared, doesn’t mean I haven’t continued shooting and processing images. Because I have.

And maybe today is a good day to get back into it. Let’s see how long this lasts.

I think the good thing about putting some space between you and your art, is that you gain the perspective of hindsight. You can ask yourself: Do I still like this art? Does it still resonate with me? If it does, it’s worth sharing. If it doesn’t, maybe some more time is needed.

I’m happy to report I still feel a bond with these images. In some ways they resonate with me more than ever. They express and convey what a messy world we live in. And for anyone living in the seventh month of 2020, I’m sure you can relate, even just a bit.
So if there is anyone still following along, I’m making a renewed effort to get back at this. Let’s see how long it lasts.
